SHORT SYNOPSIS OF

THE SORX AND THE QORX

 

While Jack and Holly are playing in their garden, Holly's best friend Podge is stolen by a Sorx who disappears into a tunnel. Holly is distraught and desperately chases after the Sorx with Jack in hot pursuit. Without realising it, they find themselves lost and alone in Highlow.

 

There they meet a friendly Qorx called Hornbeam who hatches a rescue plan. This involves Holly and Jack entering the weird and wonderful town of Qorxville. with its Treasure Store, Thunder Works, Rainbow Factory, Treacle Lake, Road to Nowhere and Jigsaw Trail.  But ,when they put the plan into action, their hopes are dashed at every turn.

 

With time running out, they try to escape but, after a fierce battle, a disaster occurs. Can Holly and Jack rescue  Podge or will they be trapped forever in this strange parallel universe?
